d) Verge/hedges impeding visibility at the Church Lane junction.
“We have assessed the sign for visibility from the position of approaching traffic in the southbound lane of the carriageway, and found that the view is not obscured. We would also note that as a repeater sign for an established speed limit, that covers would not reasonably be expected to increase their speed until encountering further regulatory signs. Thank you for reporting this matter.
State changed to: No further action” LCC
e) 40mph signs – LCC - Cllr Hastings reported.
f) 30mph repeater signs – Parish Council.
g) Jacobs Close footpath maintenance - No reply.
h) Road safety – Grange Lane – Jacobs Close
“We have assessed the location for safety and, based on the residential nature of the area, low speed and volume of traffic, and nearby amenity land, cannot identify the need for such warning signage. It is to be expected that pedestrians and playing children would be present in such a location, and that basic road safety would be practiced. Thank you for reporting this matter.
State changed to: No further action” LCC
